In life we always want stability, what do I mean by this? It simply means you need to know what is going to happen next, we are engrossed in the future so much that we watch 2 and a half-hour of a movie just for the climax, do you ever sit and think while watching the movie, wth am I watching and why the hell!! But you still sit and test your patience, kyu ki paise bhare hai!
Generally
speaking people waste more money long term thinking they’re saving short term,
buying cheap brand clothes and Chinese products are a few examples, the happiness of saving money now outweighs the fidget itch it will cause long term,
i.e early wear out or poor performance by the product and turn to buy such
products multiple times will get more money out of your pocket.
Similarly
knowing the climax of a movie will spoil it but we willingly go to the
astrologers to find out how we’ll end up! I’ll tell you what happens in the
end…YOU DIE!
We had a
meeting with our teachers regarding the upcoming exams and the most common
question was, what kind of MCQs will be there? I was the only 1 to say sir
please don’t spoil it for me!
But I’m no
saint and I’m afraid too in these uncertain times when the news can't be
trusted besides they don’t cover the topics relevant to you( that’s a topic for
another blog) but the news that ultimately reaches you, is still unreliable and
keeps changing, I just tell myself to
be calm and do what I do. These blogs are a part of it since we can’t predict
what’s going to happen, better enjoy the time, later we won’t regret it.
The craving
for stability and control over situations makes us do crazy things like lying, getting
mad, sometimes literally, manipulating people to get what you want, you know
who this is, and creating a façade. We all want to be in control of it.
The underlying realization of the entire prose is to accept the situation and work
around it, with it, through it. Find what works for you and do it again and
again. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable and as we all know our brains
are problem-solving machines, certainly we’ll figure this out as well.
